MOFO x JICN Event:- Workplace Harassment: Navigating Differences Between Japan and Western Business Cultures | June 4th, 2026
Workplace harassment remains a critical issue for companies operating across multiple jurisdictions. Approaches to addressing harassment—including bullying (power harassment), sexual harassment, discrimination, and customer harassment—can differ between Japan and other jurisdictions, creating challenges for organizations seeking to manage these issues effectively in practice. Takahiro Nonaka will lead a discussion with Morrison Foerster’s disputes and employment team, providing a comparative overview of these differences and offering practical insights on how to navigate them. The session will include interactive case studies designed to highlight key risk areas and real-world approaches to handling harassment issues across cultures.
This is an in-person event only (no online option). Catering will be provided.
